90° Stackable Bottom Chime and 90°handle hole of top chime with Anti-slipping Technology

KINGSON BEER KEG uses anti-slipping technology with a 90° angle design in bend between the ring of bottom chime and the smooth surface. According to the appearance point of view, this design looks with full texture and it is consistent with the modern aesthetic.

 

Compared with others in the market, they use a big obtuse angle design. This design is not only unsightly indeed, but also leads to an extremely dangerous falling down result while the kegs had been stacking with a certain height (approximately 1.8m).

Beer keg neck test :

1. 1. Compression Test for Neck

　　Measure the distance from neck to chimb under a vertical downward load

2. 2. Test for Static Deflection

　　Fix the keg. Fill a 25kg load & be suspended, from 0mm to 800mm with a step of 100mm, keep 3s for every measurement(V≤15mm).

 

　3. 3. Test for Dynamic Deflection

　　Fill a 10kg load & be dropped from 350mm height of 300mm (V≤30mm)

45°/50° Drop Test

 

 

 

 

　　KINGSON INTERZCOOL CO.,LIMITED BEER Kegs shall be full of cold water (not less than 99.5%), use slings set at correct angle (45°/50°). Then it will be fell from 4 feet (1.2 meters) with a quick release mechanism 3 times onto a 1 inch (25mm) steel plate on concrete. It is necessary that the point of Effect is exactly the same each time. Measure changed value: 3 points shall be tested.

　　Test 1: top chimb on hand hole, Measure A, B, C.

　　A: Point of Effect A Inside Diameter ≤18mm.

　　B:Verticality to Effect B Inside Diameter≤2mm.

　　C: Clearance Chimb to Neck C at middle point of spear≤5mm.

　　Result: No burst, no leakage.

 

 

 

　　Test 2: Perpendicular to hand hole, Measure A, B, C.

　　A: Point of Effect A Inside Diameter≤18mm.

　　B:Verticality to Effect B Inside Diameter≤2mm.

　　C: Clearance Chimb to Neck C at middle point of spear≤5mm.

　　Result: No burst, no leakage.

 

 

 

　　Test 3: Bottom chimb/butt weld Measure A, B, C

　　A: Point of Effect A Inside Diameter ≤18mm.

　　B: Verticality to Effect B Inside Diameter ≤2mm.

　　C: Clearance Chimb to Bottom Sump C ≤5mm.

　　Result: No burst, no leakage.

  90° Horizontal Drop Test
